About Us

Ian Godfrey and Gail Boothman of Galiani Glass Art

Welcome to Galiani Glass Art where Ian and Gail are the collaborative artists that make Galiani an exciting glass studio located within the heart of Dorset.

Both artists have been working with glass for almost 15 years now and moved into their current studio in 2014, enabling them to develop and create a wider range of designs and creations.

From the studio they produce highly distinctive and exclusive works of glass art that celebrates the colour and luminosity of glass as an art medium. Their work and designs are now crafted to produce pieces that are both functional and ornamental in areas such as:

•    Kitchen, bathroom and wet-room splashbacks;
•    Glass garden sculptures;
•    Interior wall art for living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories etc.;
•    Memory Glass: ashes in encapsulated into glass and made into jewellery and keepsakes;
•    Jewellery handcrafted in silver to incorporate glass and handmade glass beads;
•    Window designs integrated into double-glazed panels; as well as
•    Display glass that can be useful and purely decorative and enjoyable.
